Terms of Service

Effective Date: June 11, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Acsent, operated by PT ACSENT LINGUA GLOBAL at Wisma Keiai Lt. 14, Jl. Jend. Sudirman Kav.3, Jakarta Pusat, Indonesia. In these Terms, "Acsent," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the operator of the service.

By creating an account, starting a test, making a purchase, or using the service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.

1. Using Acsent

Acsent provides English learning, IELTS and TOEFL practice, placement tests, mock tests, question banks, AI-assisted speaking and writing feedback, reports, school or partner testing flows, subscriptions, credits, add-ons, and related support services.

You may use the service only for lawful, personal, educational, or authorized institutional purposes. You must not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt to bypass access controls, scrape content at scale, or use Acsent to harm others.

2. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account unless the activity resulted from our failure to use reasonable security measures.

If your account is created through a school, partner, invitation, placement test, or credit program, your access may also depend on that school or partner's instructions, test window, package, credit pool, or visibility settings.

3. Learning content and test results

Acsent is a learning and practice platform. Scores, CEFR levels, placement results, explanations, AI feedback, recommendations, and generated reports are educational estimates, not official IELTS, TOEFL, university, immigration, employment, or certification results.

We work to keep content and scoring useful, but language assessment includes judgment and may contain errors, delays, interruptions, or differences from official exam scoring.

4. AI features, recordings, and submitted content

Some features process your answers, essays, transcripts, audio recordings, microphone input, camera or face-verification data, uploaded files, and interaction logs to provide practice, scoring, feedback, fraud prevention, support, analytics, and service improvement.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit content to Acsent. You keep ownership of your submitted content, but you grant us the rights needed to host, process, analyze, transmit, display, and store it so we can operate and improve the service.

Do not submit sensitive personal data unless a feature clearly requires it. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Payments, subscriptions, credits, and refunds

Paid features may include subscriptions, usage credits, school-funded access, and add-on purchases. Prices, currencies, package limits, and included credits may vary by location, product, promotion, school, or partner.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Their own terms and privacy notices may apply to payment processing.

Unless a stricter refund rule is shown at checkout or required by law, refund requests may be sent to support within 24 hours of purchase. Refund eligibility may depend on whether paid features, credits, add-ons, or reports have already been used or delivered.

6. Intellectual property

The Acsent platform, software, designs, question banks, generated materials, explanations, reports, audio, branding, and other service content are owned by Acsent or licensed to us.

You may use Acsent content for your own learning or authorized institutional use. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, publish, train competing systems on, or create derivative products from Acsent content without written permission.

IELTS and TOEFL are trademarks of their respective owners. Acsent is not endorsed by or affiliated with those trademark owners unless expressly stated.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend, limit, or terminate access if we reasonably believe that you violated these Terms, abused credits or payment flows, compromised test integrity, created security risk, infringed rights, or used the service unlawfully.

You may request account deletion from your Profile page, through other available account tools, or by contacting support. Some records may be retained where required for security, legal compliance, dispute handling, school or partner reporting, payment records, or legitimate business purposes described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Service availability and liability

We aim to provide a reliable service, but Acsent is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free content, exact scoring, or that every feature will remain available.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Acsent is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost opportunities, or official test outcomes arising from use of the service.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service, law, or business requirements change. The version and effective date above identify the current Terms.

If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users or request renewed acceptance where appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Questions about these Terms may be sent to support@acsent.ai or +62 811 995 0216.
